Built during the early 1890s, this Romanesque revival building features multiple levels, two towers and four ornate gargoyles on its roof. One of Dallas’ oldest structures, it is constructed of red sandstone from the Pecos region and gray granite shipped in from Arkansas. The museum takes patrons on a journey through the history of Dallas County from prehistoric time to present day through artifacts, photographs and hands-on exhibits.

The Reunion Tower is a 50-story, round structure that offers a terrific panoramic view of the Dallas region. The contemporary structure was built in 1978 and features glass elevators that transport guests to the top, where a revolving restaurant and bar are located. An observation floor referred to as the Lookout is also found at the top of the building.

It features 66 acres of flowers, manicured lawns and trees, and it is home to the largest collection of azaleas in the US. The McKinney Avenue Trolley will take you on a nostalgic ride around the Dallas downtown area, the Arts District and McKinney Avenue. The vintage streetcars depart from the McKinney Avenue Plaza and the St. Paul Terminal. The McKinney Avenue Trolley is the largest volunteer-run system in the world.

Southfork Ranch was the backdrop for the story of J.R. Ewing and his entourage from the 1980s TV show "Dallas." The 300-acre site, located just north of Dallas, was once a working ranch but is now one of the area’s most popular tourist attractions. Approximately 400,000 visitors annually drop by to see the Oil Baron's Ballroom, shop at the Ranch RoundUp and have lunch at Miss Ellie's Delicatessen.
